With the release of Usher's brand new album "Versus" only days away (scheduled for August 24th), his latest single has emerged. (I found this news on Fly-ishTV.com) His new song "Hot Toddy" was produced by Pollow Da Don and features vocals from both Jay-Z and Ester Dean.

Mixing music with the latest beverage of choice has always been a staple in Hip-hop and R&B. Of course, its understandable that two of the biggest stars in music are introducing us to a concoction popular amongst aristocrats to cure the common cold.

Eventhough this song was named after a drink consisting of lemon, boiling water, and whiskey, this joint is defintiely hot! With a flaming beat courtesy of Polow da Don, Usher spits game at a girl, while Jay-Z spits game to the mirror, mirror on the wall, all while Ester Dean wails in the background.

As a father, philanthropist, and musician, Usher's life is generally about balance now. "If it's not philanthropy, it's music," he said at the event for his New Look Foundation, which just raised $150,000 for a mobile clinic that will go to Haiti. "If it's not music, it's making sure I got the kids and dropping them off. I'm like super dad right now. The tour is the next step. May do a little acting. I'm definitely in the process of producing a few things, but it's staying busy. If it's not fragrance, then it's lifestyle. If it's cars - I mean owning, not merely driving - it's a little bit of everything."

Relative to Usher's music, 'Hot Toddy' is currently in heavy rotation and burning up the charts. is merely a taste of the heat Usher has to offer on his upcoming EP, Versus.

Per Usher, Hot Toddy is " another incredible record that's gonna be part of the re-release of Raymond v. Raymond called Versus," he said. "There's a few more. You guys check it out. Videos, we're in the process of working on that as well."

Versus is scheduled to drop on Tuesday.
